A concert devoted to the works of female composers:
Fanny Mendelssohn - Piano Trio

Mary and Richard bring a delectable programme and in particular I welcome the solo violin Bach Partita.

For this concert we might have a glimpse into the future. Jacky was a concerto finalist in the 2024 BBC Young Musician of the Year competition.

This is our official Young Musicians evening and you will meet a few new musicians, brought to us by Thea and Oliver.

Beethoven, Piano Sonata no.8, in C minor, op.13 Pathétique
Schumann, Kreisleriana op.16
Chopin, Piano Sonata no.3 in B minor, Op.58

The programme for the concert will be announced later in the autumn, but will include Dvorak, Gypsy Songs.

Piano quartets are perhaps the most accessible music form and to get our season off to a popular start, we have a quartet of superb musicians.

Rose and Matthew have been welcome visitors at our Club since their early teens being involved in concerts as well as solo recitals
