Piano quartets are perhaps the most accessible music form and to get our season off to a popular start, we have a quartet of superb musicians. Richard and Mary are known to most of us but we also have two other players of repute. Emma Shepherd is a regular Principal Viola with numerous orchestras and uses her expertise in films and games music. Rebecca Knight has similar experience with chamber orchestras but of late has extended her interests to electronic composition and especially in bringing together music and natural world soundscapes.
