Young Musicians Evening with Sophia Rahman

Young Musicians Evening with Sophia Rahman and Nicki Pearce

One of the highlights of any Rhyl Music Club season is the Young Musician’s Concert. This evening provides a platform for the Club to support and mentor young musicians in North Wales. By its very nature, this evening will embrace a wide variety of musical styles and genres, as we want these young performers to play what they enjoy and a re comfortable with. We hope that this concert will give the young people an opportunity to showcase their talents by playing to a large and appreciative audience. Who knows, but these may be the musicians of the future! Let’s hope so.

We want to ensure that the standard of the music we will hear is of the highest quality – all of the musicians have reached the equivalent of grade 8. This is a great achievement in itself and we hope that the concert experience here will be an encouragement for them to go further in the world of music.

Sophia Rahman will be teaching our five young musicians and will be overseeing the final performance alongside Nicki Pearce.
