An orchestral concert is a major coup for a Music Club like ours but to add to the concert we have a special performance: Mozart’s 27th Piano Concerto. Most of us will know some of the 27 concertos – one featured in the film Elvira Madigan. Piano concerto no 27 was first performed shortly before Mozart’s death at the age of 35.

The orchestra will also perform for us:

Tchaikovsky ‘Andante Cantabile’ (string quartet no.1, Op. 11);
Alex Mills ‘Night, Sleep, Death & the Stars’;
Mathias ‘Hobed o Hilion’;
Haydn Symphony no.8 (Le Soir).
