Krysia Osostowicz, Clara Biss, Mary Hoffman – violins and violas

This is an opportunity to hear music to which you may not be accustomed. Each musician will take turns on violin and viola.

Krysia taught both Mary and Clara and has been a senior member of many famous chamber groups such as Dante and Endymion. One of her teachers was Yehudi Menuhin.

Clara has had an orchestral career but latterly has concentrated more on chamber music with the Lawson Trio, Endymion Ensemble and Britten Sinfonia.

Mary is now well known to us from varied concerts including our Beethoven in Wales series.

• Music to be played will be posted later.
• My first guess was that it might be baroque but I looked at what existed and found music by Kodaly, Ysaye and many more.
