Annwyl aelod/Dear member,
It has been a splendid season of music, I think you’ll agree. and there is one final treat in store for us next Wednesday, 26 March: the Liszt concert postponed from last season.
There is now a lot more information about Liszt and this concert on the home page of the club website. Do have a look at it and whet your appetite for the pleasure to come.
The concert features Ellis Thomas on the piano and Denis, our chairman, as narrator. I believe Denis is quite looking forward to being pelted with gloves by the female members of the audience , showing their appreciation of his performance.
At this final concert, a good audience would be an appropriate tribute to Stephen, our concert organiser, and also to Ellis and Denis who have worked so hard to make this special event possible. So, begloved or not, please come along if you possibly can.
