The concert has been partly sponsored by Minna and Peter Wigley for whom the Trio played at a 70th birthday party celebration in July 2014. Samantha was once a member of our club and has performed for us on several occasions. She now has an annual Piano Week in Bangor, supported by Bluthner. Brian visited us with Samantha only last season; he also plays in a trio with Adam Newman and Adam is with us for our next concert. I have heard about Fenella on numerous occasions through my connections at Making Music. I see that she has just played at the Plush Festival in my home county of Dorset and I very much hope she managed a visit to the fine pub there, “The Brace of Pheasants”.
