Formed in 2006, the Sterling Trio has an eclectic repertoire and we intend to give them an opportunity to demonstrate this.
The Trio complements its instrument combination with bass clarinet, piccolo and alto flute so we can expect great variety in their programme.
We have an opportunity here to return to either the Renaissance or Baroque eras as well as to hear 21st century music. I have often found our concerts to be most rewarding when they take me to an era that I know little about and perhaps other members will find the same with the Sterling.
